We started as a small collection of pubs & eateries founded on traditional values on East Street in Newton Abbot. From here we grew on a passion for great service and social atmosphere

Where it all started
East Street Pub Co. has it’s roots in, you guessed it East Street in the small Devon town of Newton Abbot. East Streets portfolio started with the quant pub The Union Inn situated on East Street, before expanding to our Rio Grande and Olive sites just around the corner. Further sites were opened in Paignton & Teignmouth. Olive was later dissolved while Rio Grande underwent a major refurbishment in 2019 becoming Twelve Twenty, named after the year the clocktower in
Newton Abbot was built.
